Right now we have free homemade caramel and apples with any spa service!
Here is Michelle’s recipe:
2 squares of butter
2 lbs brown sugar
2 cups of Karo Corn Syrup.
Wash down the sides of pan when it reaches a boil to dissolve the final grains of sugar. Then add 2 cans of Sweetened condensed milk slowly while stirring. Bring to desired temperature. For a caramel dipping sauce bring to about 200 degrees, for caramel popcorn bring to soft ball stage, or for caramel apples, cook a little longer so it will stick to the apples. I suggest that the caramel popcorn or apples be set up on parchment paper.
