Frosted Pumpkin Cookies-Delicious!!

Frosted Pumpkin Cookies 2 C butter, softened 2 C sugar 2 t baking soda 2 t baking powder 1 t salt 1 t cinnamon 1 t nutmeg 2 eggs 2 t vanilla 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin (1.5 c) 4 C flour Beat butter till fluffy and slowly add sugar. FROSTING: (this makes extra frosting, depending on how much you ice cookies with)
1 C butter
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C milk
2 t vanilla
2 lbs powdered sugar
2 T maple syrup
dash salt

In sauce pan combine all ingredients except the powdered sugar. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Pour into powdered sugar and beat well till mixed. Frost the cookies while slightly warm. If the frosting sets up before you get them frosted, just microwave it a few seconds to soften it and resume frosting. Enjoy!
