Microneedling is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment and may not be suitable for everyone. For safety reasons, microneedling is not recommended for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active acne, open wounds, skin infections, cold sores, or a history of keloid scarring.
Certain medications, medical conditions, and recent treatments may require a waiting period or provider clearance. A consultation is required prior to treatment, and your provider will determine if microneedling is appropriate for your skin.
Results, downtime, and healing time vary by individual. Temporary redness, sensitivity, and mild swelling are normal and expected following treatment.
